My Journey as a Freelance Illustrator & Graphic Designer
As a freelance illustrator since 2007, I regularly illustrate for the publishing and press industries, as well as for schools, institutions, companies, and communities.
I am skilled in creating drawings, animations, comics, and illustrations for articles and stories.
My specialty? The world of children, creating colorful and whimsical universes with quirky characters to make children laugh and dream.
I also easily adapt to create works for adults, including book covers, humorous or educational comics, and even technical assembly guides!
KEY MOMENTS IN MY FREELANCE CAREER
Since 2003, before becoming a professional, I have been drawing constantly with the author and screenwriter Pierre-Etienne Bertrand, whom I met at university. Together, under the pseudonyms peb & fox , we create comics and humorous illustrations for all audiences. We also develop well-established introductory comic book workshops, which are always appreciated by young and old alike.
I then develop my creative work for book and magazine publishers , businesses and communities . Depending on the projects, I work as an illustrator , press cartoonist , graphic designer , or even animator when it comes to creating illustrated videos.
In 2012, I participated in the takeover of the associative publishing house Le Potager Moderne and contributed to publishing several comic and artistic works, both in terms of financial and administrative management and in terms of the layout and content of the works.
I also collaborate regularly with the colorist author Aurélie Renard , and with the latter in 2017 created the association Les Idées Vertes , specialized in the production of illustrated communications and the publication of books on nature, heritage and European culture.
